Gardening Tips  from the professional

Here you will find interesting and useful tips and tricks on the subject of fertilization.

Why fertilize organically?

Organic fertilizers are always of plant or animal origin. That is why they are particularly plant-friendly, because they consist exclusively of natural material and, in addition to the classic plant nutrients nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, also contain proteins, amino acids and vitamins.

Mineral fertilizers are mostly artificially composed and not as effective.

While the energy-intensive production and use of mineral fertilizers can lead to an accumulation of cadmium and uranium in the environment, organic fertilizers are made from agricultural waste such as bone meal, sugar beet molasses, etc. ... This means that fertilization with these recycling materials creates a closed cycle of nutrients and especially nitrogen. Because similar to the well-known CO2 problem, there is already an unhealthy excess of nitrogen in nature (so-called eutrophication), which puts a heavy strain on sensitive ecosystems and crowds out entire groups of plants (e.g. ferns) through an artificial nutrient oversupply. This has a lasting impact on biodiversity.

However, fertilizing with organic fertilizers ensures that no new nitrogen is introduced into the environment. Organic fertilization therefore makes sense both ecologically and economically.

Vegan fertilizer is free from animal components.
Watch out!
Not all organic fertilizers are automatically organic fertilizers!

Non-organic fertilizers are usually traded under the title "Natural Fertilizer". Look out for the InfoXgen award or organic seal.

Heavily used lawns need special care and nutrients

Lawns on golf courses & sports fields often suffer from various environmental stressors.

Due to drought and heat stress, frequent use of chemicals and intensive cutting, grass can react to stress very quickly.

VeganoFluid is absorbed very quickly through the leaf and distributed throughout the plant. The contained amino acids are an important osmoregulator of the plant. In this way, VeganoFluid improves the regulation of the osmotic pressure in the plant cell.

The plant treated with it saves itself the energy and time-consuming

synthesis and can react very quickly to environmental stress such as heat, cold and drought.

Laboratory studies have shown that it improves photosynthesis and stabilizes cell membranes under osmotic stress.

Benefits of Organic Fertilizer

Due to the process of mineralization, organic fertilizer develops its effect more slowly and evenly than mineral fertilizer. By binding to carbon, the risk of leaching and overloading of the soil is reduced. Organic fertilizer that is bound to a lot of solids, such as manure or compost, revitalizes the soil in the long term. The conversion of the materials creates additional humus, which loosens the soil and increases the storage capacity for water and nutrients. Valuable bacteria as well as yeast and filamentous fungi that are found in the organic fertilizer and spread in the soil improve the soil quality in the long term. Unlike mineral fertilisers, organic fertilizers do not cause leaf and root burns if the concentration is too high and are completely harmless to children and pets.
